It’s the 6-month death anniversary of actor Sushant Singh Rajput and the void created after his demise can still be felt by his family, friends and fans. The reason why nobody has been able to move on because his loved ones didn’t get a closure. Was it a suicide or a murder- it isn’t known even after 6 months of investigation by the biggest agencies of India. The case initially handled by Mumbai Police, went to ED, CBI and NCB. Several arrests were also made while investigating the drug angle in the case.
However, no hard evidence was found that could solve the mystery behind his sudden death.
6 months and the questions of people are the same. Actor Shekhar Sumar, who is actively speaking on the case, wrote a tweet, “It’s exactly half a year since SSR left this world and yet we await the final verdict. Who are the culprits? And why are we all still crying for justice? Is there any hope left?”
A few days ago, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court on Monday questioning the silence on the part of the CBI in the case. The petition urged the court to direct the agency to complete the investigation in two months and submit a report. Meanwhile, the court is yet to speak on the petition.
Sushant’s US-based sister Shweta Singh wrote on her social media today, “I pledge to fight for justice until we know the whole truth. May God guide us and show us the way.”
