12th Fail Starring Vikrant Massey To Leave Its Impact In China With 20000 Screens

Vikrant Massey, Medha Shankar starrer 12th Fail has got 20000 screens in China. The movie will release there soon, Vikrant Massey revealed.

The movie which garnered many awards this year with the remarkable performances by actors and outstanding direction, ‘12th Fail’ is set to premiere in China. Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail created a buzz amongst the audience right after its release in October 2023. Vikrant Massey starring 12th Fail has encouraged many. With Filmfare awards, it received critical appreciation from many. And after leaving its profound impressions on Indian audiences, the film is ready to embark on a new journey in China. It has got nearly 20,000 screens in China.

In an interview with India Today, Vikrant Massey shared information about the movie’s China screening, saying, “It has been in the works for a few months, but finally the news is out, and everyone knows that the film is releasing in China. There is a huge demand for Hindi cinema or Indian cinema in China. There are more than 20,000 screens. China really caters to the entertainment sector and hence the numbers.” Well, it’s not confirmed whether he will go there for promotions, he said, “It is too soon to talk about that, but I am really excited because, after a long time, something like this has happened.”

12th Fail, helmed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, was an accomplishment for the makers. Even the actress Medha Sankar who debuted with this film left an impact through her character.  A simple story based on the life of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma made audiences relate to his struggle and his spirit. The movie collected over Rs.55 crore net in India. 

Earlier, Aamir Khan’s ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘Dangal’ also received a noticeable response in China.

Talking about the work front of Vikrant Massey, he will be next seen in the movie ‘The Sabarmati Report’ along with Raashii Khanna releasing on 3rd May.
