Bollywood star Aamir Khan recently introduced the media to his girlfriend Gauri Spratt. On the occasion of his 60th birthday, while Aamir shared his big day with the paps and fans around him, he even publicised his relationship with Gauri. On the same, Aamir Khan’s sister Nikhat Khan Hegde, opened up about the family’s reaction to Aamir’s new partner.
Last week, Aamir announced that he and Gauri had been dating for a year and a half when he met media persons for a meet-and-greet ahead of his 60th birthday on March 14. On Thursday, Nikhat attended the trailer launch of her upcoming Malayalam film, L2: Empuraan, held in Mumbai. During the event, she spoke with Times Applaud Trends and shared her thoughts about Aamir and Gauri. She expressed, “We are very happy for Aamir and Gauri because she is a wonderful person, and we genuinely wish for their eternal happiness.”
Gauri, originally from Bangalore, is the daughter of Rita Spratt, who previously owned a salon in the city. Having spent most of her life in Bangalore, Gauri’s educational background includes attending Blue Mountain School and completing a fashion course in FDA Styling & Photography at the University of the Arts, London, in 2004. Her LinkedIn profile also highlights that she manages a BBlunt salon in Mumbai.
