Ahmed Khan – a name synonymous with creativity and versatility in Bollywood. Known primarily for his expertise as a choreographer, Ahmed Khan has made an indelible mark in the history with time. As a director, producer, and writer, Ahmed has been showcasing his diverse skill set across multiple facets of the film industry. With a career spanning decade, Ahmed Khan has worked on some of the most iconic dance numbers in Bollywood, earning a reputation for his ability to blend style, energy, and storytelling through movement. His choreography in films like Baaghi, Main Tera Hero, and Kick has been widely praised for bringing a fresh, dynamic approach to Bollywood dance.

In an exclusive interaction with Lehren Retro, the power artist reflected onto his expereiences while working with different actors of Bollywood. Be it the king of romance – SRK, or the non-dancer mega star Salman Khan, Ahmed Khan has made every foot dance on his steps. Narrating one such experience about Salman dancing, Ahmed Khan told that Salman had a carefree attitude, and never seemed bothered with the choreography style. He directly used to say Ahmed that nothing bothered him, and placed his trust on Ahmed Khan. As Ahmed quoted, “Salman always said give me whatever, I’ll do it. He has got that swag, and in that swag he always does it.”
As he goes further, Ahmed said, “Actors like Aamir, Salman, Shahrukh, Ajay, Hrithik and Akshay – these are all stalwarts. You cannot tell them how to do what.” At the same time, when he was asked about what special element he added to make TheSalman Khan dance on ‘Jumme Ki Raat’ from Sajid Nadiadwala’s film Kick. He said the one dancing on this song required attitude, a dancing attitude, and not just random signature steps. He garnered praises for Salman’s performance, and revealed how they got the signature step for Jumme Ki Raat.
Post Kick , Salman and Ahmed Khan never worked ahead for any dance or stage performance. However, after a long wait – once again the trio is returning back. With Salman Khan’s upcoming film Sikandar’s title track, Ahmed has returned to make Salman groover on the new beats. This collaboration, known for producing hits, hints at another chart-topping track soon to grace the music scene. The excitement around this reunion is heightened by the memory of their previous success with the song Jumme Ki Raat from Kick, which captivated audiences nearly a decade ago.
