As the Ranveer Allahabadia controversy continues to stir online, an old comment by comedian Kapil Sharma is going viral. While fans have been constantly serving hate towards Ranveer aka BeerBiceps, and Samay Raina’s show “India’s Got Latent”, for his “parental sex” joke – an old video resurfaced from one of the episodes of Kapil Sharma’s Show, where Sharma cracked a similar joke, but in a different manner. People have been questioning how the audience took it lightly, and why did this joke did not come to light when Kapil cracked it out.
Kapil Sharma ‘s Old Joke Goes Viral Amid Latent Controversy
The joke was back from the days when Kapil ran his show on the Sony TV, named as “Comedy Nights With Kapil”. The actor-comedian Kapil Sharma was discussing about the things Indians love – cricket and films. Amid the conversation, Kapil joked about children who are ready to even wake even at 4 am to watch a cricket match. In this context, he said, “Cricket ka match shuru hona tha 4 baje, aur phir yeh ma baa ki kabaddi dekh ke so jaate hai”. This joke was plainly accepted by the audience, considering it as a hilarious punch, while the context derived from this was equivalent to what Ranveer Allahabadia said recently on the Samay Raina’s latent episode.
Fans REACT To Kapil’s Blatantly Vulgur Joke
The clip from the old show has gone immensely viral, and fans are showing utmost disapproval on why was this accepted by the public back then, and is seen as a controversial attempt now. Users have given mixed reaction on the platform Reddit right after the video went viral. A user highlighted that Kapil Sharma ensured to land the joke in a very respectable manner, while Ranveer capitalised, enunciated and underlined the joke in a filthy manner. The comment read, “Kapil is witty and smart. Kabaddi could very well mean a fight between the parents. Kapil cracked a joke and left it to the audience’s interpretation. Ranveer capitalised, enunciated and underlined a bad joke in the name of dank comedy, just to project that he’s cool“.
However, many still showed aggresion on Kapil’s joke, and demanded for an equal level of action against the comedian for his joke. As soon as an individual posted the clip on Reddit, many commented that this post should go equally viral, and gain enough attention, to ensure that everyone is treated right.
