The Anant-Radhika wedding ceremony has been nothing short of a series of eventful occasions. Ever since the couple got engaged, there have been a multitude of celebrations happening in the Ambani family.
However, the adorable couple Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will finally tie the knot this week. The grand wedding is scheduled for July 12, 2024, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex. The wedding festivities kicked off with a private Puja ceremony at Antilia on June 29, 2024. Before the wedding, several pre-wedding rituals have already been celebrated. The first being in Jamnagar and the other, on a cruise in Italy.
After events like Haldi, Sangeet, and Mameru are completed with great pomp and huge social media buzz, this high-profile wedding is now set to attract a large number of celebrities from around the world. The grand event is expected to be graced by renowned personalities such as Kim and Khloe Kardashian, ex-Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and Tony Blair.
The list does not end here. Several social media influencers including the hairstylist Chris Appleton and US TikTok star and content creator Julia Chafe will also be a part of the big day. Additionally, numerous other global celebrities are slated to attend this star-studded occasion on July 12. According to a report by Bloomberg, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson are also anticipated to be present at the Ambani wedding in Mumbai. This guest list is not the usual people’s list and includes several VIP officials.
Alongside them, the guest list in India invites stars and filmmakers from B-town, politicians, sportspersons and several industry leaders too. This B-town list includes Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, M.S Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and others. Andhra Pradesh C M – N Chandrababu Naidu, Bengal CM Mamata Bannerjee, and Uttar Pradesh’s CM Yogi Adityanath will also be a part of the event.
The dress code for the event is formal Indian wear. The invitation card circulated also specifies the guests’ age to be above 14 years. Indian billionaire and Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani’s wedding with Radhika Merchant will take place under ancient Hindu Vedic rituals. Post the wedding, the “Shubh Asshirwaad” celebrations will occur on Saturday, July 13, followed by a wedding reception or, “Mangal Utsav’ on Sunday, July 14th. This huge wedding is now highly anticipated by audiences worldwide.
All indications point to a fantastic experience ahead, as it is rumoured that these events will be enriched with soul-stirring devotional songs and shlokas. Extensive preparations are carried out as the shlokas are in Sanskrit.
