Juhi Babbar Soni Intimidates Husband Anup Soni? The Couple Gets Candid About Their Marriage

Juhi Babbar Soni and Anup Soni are among the busiest couples in the entertainment industry. While Juhi is a longtime theatre performer and Anup is more inclined toward television. The couple who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony back in 2011, recently opened up about their marriage and how they maintain a happy life together despite having different personalities. They sat down for an interview where they discussed various aspects of their relationship including compatibility, fights and how they support eachother.

Does Juhi Babbar Intimidate Anup Soni?

During their conversation with Fever FM, the host asked whether independent, intelligent and strong women tend to intimidate men. Answering from both perspectives, Juhi Babbar responded confidently, saying, “So, I definitely think I do intimidate men. I do.” However, she clarified that this dynamic does not apply to Anup. She explained, “I don’t think Anup falls into that because I think hamari jo understanding jo hai that is not at all (our understanding is not like that at all).” She further added, “Shayad meri personality bhi vo nahi hai Anup ke saath (Maybe my personality is not like that with Anup).” While admitting that she can come across as strong in certain situations, she emphasized, “Anup knows how to handle it.”

Anup Soni on Men Feeling Intimidated by Women

When asked if men feel intimidated by strong women, Anup agreed. “Yes, yes, they get,” he said. He explained that men often feel intimidated by women in both professional and personal spaces. Speaking about his own relationship, he shared his perspective: “Hum dono ke case mein, mera bada simple logic hai (In our case, I have a very simple logic). Main bahut zyada logic mein believe karta hu aur mere saath hamesha yeh logic hota hai ki ‘Mera yeh opinion hai, you don’t want to follow this absolutely fine but you can’t change my opinion’ (I strongly believe in logic, and my logic is that I have an opinion, and you may not agree, but you can’t change it).”

He further shared that he never agrees with Juhi under pressure but sometimes aligns with her viewpoint to maintain harmony. Interestingly, he revealed that despite her strong opinions Juhi also occasionally agrees with his perspective.

Juhi Babbar and Anup Soni tied the knot in a low-key wedding in 2011. Before marrying Anup, Juhi was married to screenwriter Bejoy Nambiar, but they parted ways after two years. Anup was previously married to Ritu Soni in 1999, and they share two daughters, Zoya and Myra. He divorced Ritu in 2010. Now, after 14 years of marriage, Juhi and Anup are in a happy space, living a fulfilling life with their son, Imaan Soni.
