‘Khel Khel Mein’ Another Addition To Akshay Kumar’s FLOP Film List?

Made under the direction of filmmaker, Mudassar Aziz, the Bollywood comedy-drama, “Khel Khel Mein” was released in the theatres on 15 August coinciding with Independence Day. Prior to its release, the film garnered significant due to the extensive promotions. However, despite the promotional events and the hype, it seems that the film has fallen short of expectations with its box office opening and reviews.

Khel Khel Mein Another FLOP From Akshay Kumar?

Khel Khel Mein stars Akshay Kumar, Ammy Virk, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan. Upon its theatrical release, the film garnered a “positive” response and reviews from both the public and critics.

However, unfortunately, despite the positive reception the film has failed to create its magic at the box office. Unlike the reviews, the box office figures speak and show an entirely different picture.

Khel Khel Mein has reportedly grossed only ₹ 5 Crore, which is significantly “low” considering that the film was released on Independence Day. Moreover, Khel Khel Mein is trailing behind other films like Vedaa, Stree 2, Double iSmart, and Thangalaan, all of which were released on August 15.

Considering the “underwhelming” opening many trade experts claim that “Khel Khel Mein” might become another flop from Akshay Kumar and will be added to his list of back-to-back flop films.
