Sometimes, no matter how the tight the secrecy is, the winner’s name finds its way out. That’s exactly what seems to have happened with finale of The 50 show. While the official announcement is set for March 22, reports suggest that the finale has already revealed its champion.
What Happened In The Grand Finale?
The 50 grand finale was shot on February 19 in Mumbai. According to multiple media reports, including Times Of India and India Forums, Shiv Thakare emerged as the winner of the show. Sources claimed that the final task was a time-based puzzle challenge. Each finalist had to solve it individually, without the others watching.
Immortal Kaka attempted first but could not complete the puzzle. Krishna Shroff finished it in around 25 minutes. Shiv Thakare then took the challenge and reportedly completed it in approximately 10 minutes.
Mr. Faisu was the last contestant to perform. He initially solved the puzzle incorrectly and was informed that it had not been completed properly. After correcting his mistake, he finished in approximately 14 minutes. Based on timing, Shiv secured the win.
However, the makers reportedly shot the winning moment with all four finalists to maintain suspense around the official announcement.
A Sacrifice That Changed The Game?
There are also reports that Prince Narula had found the ticket to the finale but gave it to Shiv, saying, “He’s my brother, and I want him to go to the finale.” And this move by Prince brought a twist to the final lineup.
Earlier, Rajat Dalal exited in fifth place, leaving the Top 4 as Shiv, Mr Faisu, Immortal Kaka and Krishna Shroff.
Shiv’s Reality Show Journey
Shiv Thakare is no stranger to reality television. From winning Bigg Boss Marathi 2 to being runner-up in Bigg Boss 16, and participating in Roadies, Khatron Ke Khiladi 13 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, he has built a strong presence in the reality space.
While digital performance of The 50 has been solid, the makers have not yet confirmed the winner officially.
Until March 22, viewers will have to wait and see whether the reports turn out to be true.
