Popular Telugu singer Kalpana Raghavendar known for her powerful voice and captivating performances across South music industry- is currently battling for her life after an alleged suicide attempt. The singer who resides in Hyderabad but hails from Chennai, was found unconscious in her home after reportedly consuming sleeping pills. As per reports by 123Telugu, her neighbours alerted the police after she remained unresponsive for two days.

Despite multiple calls from her neighbours and her husband Prasad who was in Chennai – singer Kalpana remained unresponsive. Raising concerns, her neighbours attempted to break open the door but failed. They then informed the police, who arrived at the scene immediately. A viral video circulating online shows police officers trying to enter Kalpana’s residence. The house was completely dark and despite ringing the doorbell several times, there was no response. Officers then attempted to peek through the windows but found no signs of movement. Eventually, they managed to break in through the kitchen door and found Kalpana Raghavender unconscious in her bedroom. She was immediately rushed to Holistic Hospital in Hyderabad, where she is currently on ventilator support and she is said to be out of immediate danger but remains in critical condition. Doctors are closely monitoring her recovery.

Kalpana Raghavendar’s Husband ARRESTED!
Questions have been raised about why Kalpana was alone at home for days without any assistance. As per reports by Cinejosh, her husband Prasad, has been arrested and is under investigation. Authorities are trying to determine if there were any domestic issues that led to this tragic incident. While some reports suggest that financial problems might have played a role in her decision, the exact reason remains unknown. Police are continuing their investigation to uncover the truth.

Kalpana’s alleged suicide attempt has sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry. Friends and colleagues from the music and film fraternity, including singers Sunitha, Srikrishna, Geetha Madhuri, Karunya and others have rushed to the hospital upon hearing the news. Meanwhile, Prasad arrived in Hyderabad and is being questioned as part of the ongoing probe. Authorities are looking into all possible angles including personal and financial matters to understand what led to this tragic situation.
