And after a long period of silence, Aadar Jain, and wife Alekha Advani have finally chosen to break their silence on Aadar’s ‘timepass’ comment made on ex-girlfirend Tara Sutaria. Aadar was was allegedly criticised for ruthlessly mocking out his past relationship and calling it a timepass, came out to clarify the air and explained the reality behind his statement. In an exclusive interview with TOI, Aadar Jain claimed that his lines were miscontrued and people have intentionally chosen to make stroies out of his statement, while in reality they were all baseless.
Aadar Jain Clears The Air On His ‘Timepass’ Comment
Clearing the air about Aadar’s mehendi ceremony speech, he said, “They say that silence is respectable to the point where things cross the line. There are so many false narratives, false assumptions, but no fact checkers. Unfortunately, what happens is when people make up stories and say certain things, the people who get affected are the people involved and their families. In this scenario from day one, there’s been so many things written. Out of respect, everyone has been silent about it. People then take liberty to say what they want” Speaking of the “timepass” comment, Aadar added, “You should play the video. I said 20 years and not four”.
Alekha Advani On Receiving Criticism
Talking further, Aadar tells that Alekha Advani and him have been friends since childhood and have been there with each other in every moment. “People have made it out to be something else and directed towards someone else. My parents always taught me to respect my past, my present and now my future. So that is how we have been brought up and we never meant to direct it towards anyone. I would not think of anyone else when I’m getting married. It’s unfortunate what happened. But there’s no truth behind any of it,” Aadar told further.
Having cleared the air on his ‘timepass’ comment, Aadar Jain mentioned that even after this clarity statement, people will come forward to make opinions and would say anything they want to. However, he will not pay any heed to them. He said that this was the first, and the last time that he is addressing this stance.
