Hansal Mehta Hits At Trollers For Criticising Ibrahim Ali Khan & Vikram Bhatt
Hansal Mehta, famous for projects like Scam 1992, called off the critics for the constant trolling of both Ibrahim and Khushi. In a conversation with ETimes, Hansal mentioned that people are being very harsh and unfair. He found the comments in a terrible taste and said that it must be traumatising for the kids. “What is sad is that, have we checked for the preparedness of these children before they have got their break? I’m sure it must be traumatising for the young people. But we forget that their parents at one time, a lot of their parents at one time made very awkward beginnings too. They also had awkward debuts. It’s just that they were just not so much in the public eye then, as people are now, due to social media”, Hansal added.
Vikram Bhatt On Ibrahim Facing Criticism
Meanwhile, filmmaker Vikram Bhatt also came forwarding comparing Ibrahim’s debut film to his father Saif Ali Khan’s debut. Vikram said in an interview, “I am not able to understand the trolling that the film is facing on social media as I like both the lead actors—Khushi and Ibrahim. I liked Ibrahim, it’s a different matter whether the film is good or not. But these days, there is an argument about nepotism, and to win that argument, you have to be superb, but that’s not fair for newcomers. It’s his first film. Who does superb in their first film? He has a presence in front of the camera, you can tell that he knows acting. So, I am sad about this whole thing.”
Because netizens have quite lately been drawing comparisons between Ibrahim and his father Saif Ali Khan, Bhatt highlighted that even if he is being compared, he has proven himself by that comparison. “I think he is at par with Saif and way better than Saif’s performance in his debut films.” Bhatt even remarks that he is ready to give in written about his coming success. ” I can give you in writing that Ibrahim will be a big star”, he quoted.
Meanwhile Ibrahim was recently into the spotlight after one of his chat was leaked on social media. In the chat, Ibrahim was seen thrashing a stranger who mocked him for his looks and also cribbed for his performance as a failed actor.
