“We Are Soft Targets..”, Diljit Dosanjh Gets BITTER With A News Anchor

Prior to this, the artist was seen addressing the issue of using 'liquor-based terms' in songs in Ahemdabad wherein he demanded that if the state declares every day of his concert as a 'dry-day' for that particular date, he will never make a song on liquor.

The Indian-Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has been into the limelight ever since he started off with his Dil-luminati India Tour. The actor-singer recently got a notice from Telangana government before his Hyderabad concert to restrict singing songs that support liquor or drug use. Post that, Diljit changed the lyrcis of the song, and later addressed the matter in his Ahemadabad concert. However, recently a news anchor doubted Diljit’s ability to make songs without using terms related to liquor. As this challenging stance by the anchor went viral on the internet, the artist chose to gave a befitting response to the same.

Diljit Dosanjh Gives A REPLY

Diljit in his Lucknow concert gave a savage response to the news anchor. As he was asked if he can even make songs without using the term alcohol, Diljit Dosanjh recalled his songs Kinni Kinni, GOAT, Lover, Born To Shine and stated that “These songs are more famous than Patiala Peg, they stream more on spotify than any other songs, so your challenge is already gone wasted” Diljit later stated that he is not trying to defend his song lyrics but he only wants the system to give equal reactions to the bollywood movies who promote liquor usage as well. In his statement, he mentions “Agar aap censorship lagana chahte ho gaano mei, to wo censorship Bhartiya cinema mei bhi hona chahiye”.

The singer gave it back to him and every other troller raising a question that, “Konsa bada actor hai jisne sharaab ka scene ya gaana nahi kiya hai…mujhe koi yaad nahi aaraha hai”
