Mission Raniganj Movie Review: Mission Raniganj is a disaster thriller film featuring Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra and Ravi Kishan. The film is based on brave mining engineer from IIT Dhanbad – Jaswant Singh Gil, who rescued 65 trapped miners at the Raniganj Coalfields in 1989. Akshay Kumar, in his film, brings forth the untold story of the real-life hero. The film was released in theatres on 6 October 2023.
