Rasik Dave Passes At 65, Dipika Chikhlia Among Others Pay Condolences

Mahabharat fame actor Rasik Dave dies at 65 due to kidney failure. Actress Dipika Chikhlia and filmmaker Ashoke Pandit among others offer condolences to the family.

Mahabharat actor Rasik Dave passed away on July 29 after suffering from prolonged Kidney disease. The actor was 65, meanwhile, many celebrities from the industry have paid their condolences to the actor including actress Dipika Chikhlia, Ahoke Pandit, and others.

Rasik Dave Passes At 65 Due To Kidney Disease

Actor Rasik Dave who was known for playing Nand in the famous television series ‘Mahabharat’ passed away on Friday 29 July. While his mother-in-law Sarita Joshi told PTI, “Dave had a weakness, his blood pressure, and kidney issues. He was on dialysis. He was there in the hospital for about 15 to 20 days. He was brought home on Thursday and I met him and he just smiled at me. He passed away at 7-7.30 pm yesterday.”

She added, “He was a good actor and an equally good person. He had a degree in LLB but he loved acting. Ketki and him were loved a lot for their plays, especially when they traveled abroad to perform.”

Mourning the loss many actors paid condolences to the late actor. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit tweeted, “Sad to know about the demise of a dear friend Rasik Dave who was a versatile actor on stage, tv and films due to kidney failure. Heartfelt condolences to his wife Ketaki Dave and his entire family. Will always be remembered. ॐ शान्ति !”.

Ramayan actress Dipika Chikhlia shared a picture of the actor and wrote, “He was such a fun person and looked a lot like Raj Kiran and Chintuji. May his soul rest in peace. My condolences to his family.”

Actor and producer JD Majethia shared a note on Twitter and wrote, “Heartbroken and deeply saddened to hear about the untimely demise of Rasik Dave. Gone too soon brother. May God give your family the strength to get through his difficult time. Om Shanti”.

Rasik Dave was married to actress Ketki Dave, with whom he had a daughter named, Riddhi Dave. Meanwhile, Rasik Dave was best known for his work in Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s film ‘Jhoothi’, and TV shows like ‘Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka’, ‘Mahabharat’, ‘Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki’ and others. He passed away at 65 due to kidney failure.
