The Ambani family has been in constant news for their weddings and ceremonies. As Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani, prepares to wed his childhood friend, Radhika Merchant, people can’t help but remember some of his daughter Isha Ambani’s most iconic looks, most notably her royal wedding ensemble.
Isha Ambani married Anand Piramal in a lavish wedding ceremony in December 2018, while Mukesh Ambani, one of the world’s richest men, has reportedly spent up to Rs 700 crore on the grand wedding celebrations.

While Isha Ambani’s wedding had many initial attractions and lavish arrangements, her royal wedding and extraordinary lehenga became the talk of the town not only because of its unique design but also because of its enormous price tag. Isha Ambani married her childhood friend Anant Piramal in a bespoke lehenga designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, also paying tribute to her mother Nita Ambani. The romantic designer lehenga costs Rs 90 crore. Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s cream lehenga is a floral motif stele and kalis along with delicate red zardozi borders and mukaish and nakshi work.

The lehenga also came with two dupattas: a deep red embroidered shawl slung over Isha Ambani’s shoulder and a sequined cream dupatta draped over her head. What made the Rs 90 crore lehenga special was that it was sewn using Nita Ambani’s bridal saree, a 35-year-old heirloom. Isha Ambani’s 1 wedding also featured a star performance from international pop sensation Beyonce and Bollywood performances from the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Sachin Tendulkar, Shah Rukh Khan, and other celebrity faces.
