In 2003, Sunjay Kapur entered matrimony with Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor in a prominent Sikh wedding ceremony. The couple is blessed with two children: a daughter named Samaira (born 2005) and a son named Kiaan (born 2011). Their marriage encountered difficulties, resulting in a protracted and contentious divorce process. In 2016, they concluded their divorce by mutual consent. As part of the settlement, Karisma was awarded custody of their children, while Sunjay was granted visitation rights.
