Sunita Ahuja has once again found herself in the spotlight after making candid remarks about her marriage to actor Govinda. In a promotional clip from an upcoming podcast shared by MissMalini, Sunita spoke openly about the challenges she has faced, reigniting conversations around their much-discussed relationship.
“Aisi Ladkiyan Bohot Aati Hain”
In the viral clip, Sunita is heard speaking out on husband Govinda’s alleged extramarital relationships, saying, “Aisi ladkiyan bohot aati hain.” She followed it up with a firm statement that instantly caught attention, “Main Govinda ko nahi maaf karungi.” Though the full podcast episode is yet to be released but these lines have already sparked widespread discussion online.
Using humour mixed with emotion, Sunita also issued a sharp warning to her husband. “Main Nepal ki hoon; khukri nikal dungi na, toh sabki haalat kharab ho jaayegi. Isliye bolti hoon, satark ho ja beta, abhi bhi.”
Calling Out Family Responsibilities
Sunita went on to remind Govinda about his age and responsibilities, saying, “Tum 63 ke ho gaye ho. Tina ki shaadi karani hai, Yash ka career hai.” She expressed disappointment over Govinda’s alleged lack of involvement in their son Yashvardhan Ahuja’s career, stating, “Govinda ne bhi uski koi help nahi ki.”
Further recalling a direct confrontation, she shared that she questioned him bluntly, “Tu baap hai ki kya hai?”
Divorce Rumours and Reality
Despite these strong remarks, Sunita has repeatedly dismissed divorce rumours. During the 2025 Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, she firmly told the media, “Koi hum dono ko alag nahi kar sakta.” Later the couple even posed together during paparazzi spotting, shutting down speculation.
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja married in 1987 and share two children, Tina and Yashvardhan. While rumours of separation have circulated since February both have continued to deny a divorce, even as Sunita’s honest words reveal unresolved tensions behind closed doors.
