The 42-year-old actress, best remembered for her appearance in the iconic music video Kaanta Laga, passed away at her Mumbai residence. According to a preliminary report received by Amboli police, as per the rreports in Mid-day the doctors stated, “They suspected the cause of death to be a dip in her BP.” This finding came after a forensic team was dispatched to her home under the updated Indian Justice Code.
In a shocking turn of events, police found two boxes of health supplements at her flat including anti-aging and skin glow tablets with glutathione and vitamin pills. Further officials have also mentioned that Shefali had kept a Satyanarayan Puja at home that day and was fasting. And her husband, actor Parag Tyagi told police that she fainted after eating some food from the refrigerator. Clarifying that there were no signs of foul play and police have registered a case of accidental death.
