Selena Gomez made a drastic change from her usual brunette look. The songstress debuted new rainbow hair. Gomez recently shared a clip of herself in a public restroom. In the video, she fussed with her hair as it dried under the machine. In the end, Selena looked into the camera and flashed a cute smile

Selena looked stunning in a metallic blue top and jeans with rips on the knees. Alongside the video, Gomez penned, “You gotta do what you gotta do.” However, Selena still had her brunette tresses while attending Variety’s 2022 Hitmakers Brunch on December 3. Earlier this week, she was seen rocking her usual chocolate tresses while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on NBC.

While on the show she revealed her new music will be different from her other ‘sad girl songs.’ ‘I’m just so used to writing sad girl songs because I’m good at that, but I’m ready to have some fun,’ Selena said. ‘And I think people are going to like it.’ She appeared on the show wearing a black dress to promote her documentary film titled Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me, which follows her journey with lupus as well as her mental health struggles.

Selena said she started filming the documentary around seven years ago. ‘We kind of went through all the different phases of my life from getting diagnosed and doing all the things that I had to go through,’ Selena said. ‘Not going to lie, I can’t watch it. To be honest, I was scared to release it but knew that being honest and completely transparent was what I wanted to be known for. I don’t want it to be an unattainable thing. I want people to know that it’s not just you and that they’re not alone.’

Previously, Selena shared her apprehension about releasing the documentary earlier this month while holding a Q&A. She admitted to hosts Benji Pasek and Justin Paul that she hesitated to release the doc because she was ‘so nervous’ to lay bare her struggles to the world. ‘I’m just so nervous. Because I have the platform I have, it’s kind of like I’m sacrificing myself a little bit for a greater purpose,’ she explained. Despite her concern, the documentary hit the Apple TV+ streaming platform on November 2 and has received a positive reception from fans and critics.
