Akshay Kumar starrer Sarfira has completed its first week at the box office. As per Sacnilk, the film registered a rather underwhelming opening at the box office worth ₹ 2.5 Cr. Fortunately, the film witnessed slight growth at the box office during the weekend earning ₹ 4.25 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 5.25 Cr on Sunday.

However, after a decent weekend, the film witnessed a huge drop during the weekdays. Failing the Monday test the film earned ₹ 1.45 Cr on Monday, ₹ 1.95 Cr on Tuesday, ₹ 2.15 Cr on Wednesday, and ₹ 1.25 Cr on Thursday. Completing its first week at the box office, Akshay Kumar’s, Sarfira now stands at a domestic box office total of approx. ₹ 18.80 Cr.

Made on an estimated budget of approx ₹80 crore, Akshay Kumar starrer Sarfira is yet to even cross the 20Cr mark at the box office. Despite generating buzz and receiving positive feedback from critics and audiences, the film’s box office performance has been underwhelming. Given its current trajectory, the film is unlikely to recover its production costs. As a major star vehicle for Akshay Kumar, “Sarfira” has fallen short of expectations. Considering all factors, “Sarfira” can be labeled as another box office “flop” for Akshay Kumar, following “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.”
