Sanjay Dutt is making his Kannada debut with KGF: Chapter 2 which is all set for theatrical release on April 14. He will be seen playing the role of a deadly villain named Adheera in the upcoming action film. During every media interaction, Sanjay has expressed his gratitude to the team of KGF for bringing him on board for the second instalment.
KGF: Chapter 1 was released in 2018 and became a huge commercial success. During a recent press meet held in Navi Mumbai, Sanjay Dutt was asked how he felt when he watched the first part of the film. Sanjay replied, “Maine KGF: Chapter 1 dekhi. Apun to hil gaya tha bhai. Aur Rocky Bhai ko dekh ke zyada hil gaya tha. Prashanth ka direction dekh ke aur bhi zyada hil gaya tha. Aur Srinidhi ko dekh ke to gir gaya tha. (I watched KGF: Chapter 1. I was blown away, brother. And I was more blown away by the performance of Yash Bhai. And even more with Prashant’s direction. And I fell after watching Srinidhi.)”
He further added, “I am lucky that the role of Adheera came to me. And I enjoyed so much playing that character that I can’t even tell you. The look, the feel, it was just fantastic. I want to thank the team of KGF for having me.”
Looking at the director and producer, he joked, “Are we also a part of KGF: Chapter 3 or not? Just joking!”
KGF 2 features actor Yash in the lead role. Raveena Tandon will also be seen playing a pivotal role in the film.
