Controversies around Rupali Ganguly aka Anupamaa continued to stir in ever since her stepdaughter Esha Verma’s facebook post resurfaced on the internet. With netizens questioning the truth behind the 4-year old post, Esha came out once again to unveil the cruel side of Rupali with allegations on her of being a home-breaker, physicall abuse, and third-wheeling her father’s married life. Although father Ashwin Verma denied all the allegations made on his X account, Esha still stood by her statements calling it a critical time for her and her mom Sapna, whom her father cheated on because of Rupali. Stepdaughter Esha Verma Calls Out Rupali Ganguly
In a conversation with Telly Talk, Esha Verma talked about the Star plus show Anupamaa in which Rupali portrays the character of Anupamaa. Esha says, in real-life- Rupali is the real ‘Kavya’ and her mom has been the actual ‘Anupamaa’ from the show Anupamaa. She told the outlet that Rupali consistently tortured and forced her mom for divorce by sending the legal papers twice to their home.She also said that her father Ashwin K Verma asked her to delete her viral facebook post, but she denied because he never listened to anything what her daughter said in her entire life. She bashed out Ganguly for playing a character that displays values while in reality she has only disregarded it.
A few days ago after the old post resurfaced, Esha’s father who is currently in a happy marriage with Rupali Ganguly took to his X account to talk abou the same. He denied all the claims stating that there is no third person involved as a reason behind his divorce with his ex-wife. However, in the interaction Esha Verma told his father is speaking utter lies and recalled the time when the Anupamaa actress wrongly medicated his father with tablets for bi-polar disease.
For the unversed, the Star Plus show Anupamaa shows a character of a married woman Anupamaa, who lives happily with her husband and kids until one day when a third person, Kavya- enters her husband’s life as a second lady. In the show,Anupama’s husband Vanraj cheats on her and settles ahead with Kavya. Rupali who is identifed in the show as Anupama grew very popular by her role. But, to everybody’s surprise – the stepdaughter Esha came out with a story that was difficult for fans to believe and even digest. So far, Rupali Ganguly has kept quiet on the matter, and has not spoken to any media outlet or her social media.
