After so many speculations held the public’s aspirations to see Pattinson as a leading actor in the upcoming DC movie – The Brave and The Bold, co-head James Gunn has denied claims associated to the same. he confirmed that the news holds no positivity, breaking everybody’s heart a little.
According to a report gathered by The Hollywood Reporter, James Gunn was asked about bringin Robert Pattinson to the DCU. To this, Gunn bristled at the word “sharing” the actor with Reeves. He said there were no serious conversations about the actor continuing his role into the broader DCU.
Gunn’s co-CEO Peter Safran offered more of an explanation, as he continued to tell that while they “love” Pattinson’s take as the Batman, they are still focused on introducing a newer version of Batman in the upcoming film The Brave and The Bold. “We love him, but we’ve got to introduce a Batman into the DCU. It’s imperative. That’s the plan for The Brave and the Bold”, Peter remarked.
Talking about the film, Gunn’s co-CEO added that DC Studios is “in very active development on The Brave and The Bold, and that story’s also coming together very nicely” and that they’ll be coming up with more of it for the fans very soon.
