Directed by Mallik Ram the highly anticipated sequel, Tillu Square, following Siddu Jonnalagadda’s DJ Tillu, was finally released in the theatres on March 29. After its theatrical release, the Telugu film opened up to “positive reviews” from the public. Following the positive response from the audience, the Telugu film has now taken a flying start at the box office beating the Bollywood film, “Crew” and the Malayalam film, “Aadujeevitham”.

Tillu Square Box Office Collection Day 1
Tillu Square was released in theatres on 29 March, the film opened to positive reactions from moviegoers who called the sequel, Tillu Square better than the prequel, “DJ Tillu”. Following the good response the film registered an impressive opening at the box office.
As per Sacnilk.com, the Telugu comedy-romance, Tillu Square earned a whopping, ₹ 10.50 Cr on its opening day (first day) at the box office. Tillu Square’s opening day collection is shockingly higher than the first-day collection of the recently released Malayalam film, “Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life” and the Bollywood film, “Crew”.

Following the box office-shattering opening, the Telugu romantic comedy, Tillu Square is expected to see further growth during the upcoming weekend (Saturday-Sunday). If all goes well the film can cross the 20-30cr mark by the end of the weekend.

Talking about the film, Tillu Square serves as the follow-up to the 2022 movie “DJ Tillu”, with Siddu Jonnalagadda returning to his role, alongside other actors such as Muralidhar Goud, and Praneeth Reddy Kallem, reprising their respective roles from the original film.
Meanwhile, Anupama Parameswaran takes on the female lead. The storyline of Tillu Square tracks Tillu’s life as it takes an unexpected turn following a perplexing murder.
