Prabhas Reacts To The Massive Success Of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa

Telugu film ‘Pushpa’, released in Dec 2021, turned out to be a huge commercial success pan-India. After Sooryavanshi, it was the only film that managed to bring people to cinema halls. A few weeks after the theatrical release, the film was released on Amazon Prime Video in several languages including Hindi, which added to the viewership of the film. The massive success of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is now a benchmark for regional films.

Telugu superstar Prabhas has now reacted to the overwhelming success of Allu Arjun’s film. During the trailer launch event of his upcoming film ‘Radhe Shyam’, Prabhas was asked to comment on Pushpa’s success. He said, “So, we are getting closer, we are making Indian films. Films like Baahubali, KGF and now Pushpa, we are getting closer to making more and more Indian films.”

He added, “In the future, we might make some 50 Indian films, so that’s a very good sign. We are going to become India’s, world’s biggest industry once that happens.”

Prabhas’s previous Telugu films ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Baahubali 2’ are some of the highest-grossing Indian films to date. The success of the Baahubali franchise opened a new market for regional films. Pushpa is the latest addition to the list of game-changing regional films and now the filmmakers from Hindi and Telugu cinema are working towards bringing both the industries together to make it one.

Prabhas will be next seen in ‘Radhe Shyam’. It is written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. The has been shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages to reach a wider audience. Prabhas will be seen romancing gorgeous diva Pooja Hegde. The film will hit the theatres on March 11.
