Dunki Vs Salaar: SRK-Prabhas To Have A Meeting To Discuss “Screen Allocation”

As per the reports, Prabhas will have a meeting with Shah Rukh Khan to discuss "equal screen count ratio" between Dunki and Salaar.

After Animal and Sam Bahadur’s box office clash, the industry is about to witness yet another major box office clash of two much-anticipated and highly-awaited films, Salaar and Dunki. While amidst the anticipation and buzz, reports have now surfaced claiming that prior to their box office clash, both Shah Rukh Khan and Prabahs will be seeing each other in a meeting to ensure that their “clash” wouldn’t affect the box office collections of their films.

Prabhas To Meet SRK To Get Equal Screen Count

In a major showdown at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” and Prabhas’s “Salaar” are set for a head-to-head clash. However, as per a report by Zoom, a source has confirmed to the portal that actor Prabhas has decided to have a face-to-face meeting with Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan to discuss the screen allocation between Salaar and Dunki.

The source revealed to the portal that the Baahubali actor Prabhas wants a ratio of “50:50” screens even in the Hindi belt due to the dominance of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan in the Hindi film industry.

Dunki To Get More Screen Count In North Than Salaar

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki has already been dominating the screens in North. As per a report by Pinkvilla, Dunki has secured around 46 percent of the total showcasing in the multiplexes in the north while Salaar is behind Dunki with a total screen count of 20 percent. This already hints that the exhibitors in the North already prefer “Dunki” over Salaar in the Northern market.

Salaar Vs Dunki Advance Booking

Reportedly, Salaar has crossed $1 million at the overseas Box Office in advance bookings by Thursday, December 21. The film has shown impressive advance booking collections from overseas which have surpassed the overseas collections of Dunki. Dunki’s total overseas advance booking collection stands at approximately Rs 4.54 cr and Salaar’s total stands at approx. Rs 9.50 crores.
