“Jailer” Actor G Marimuthu Dies While Dubbing For A TV Show

Popular Tamil actor and director G Marimuthu passed away this morning at the age of 58. At around 8:30 am, he collapsed while dubbing for his TV show titled ‘Ethir Neechal’. As per a report, he suffered a heart attack. He was rushed to the hospital where he was declared dead. His sudden death has shocked his family, friends, colleagues and fans.

G Marimuthu was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer Tamil movie Jailer. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Fans are mourning his sudden demise on social media.

His mortal remains will be taken to Theni, his hometown where the last rites will take place.

Marimuthu made his debut as a filmmaker in 2008 with ‘Kannum Kannum’. Apart from directing many films, he also played character roles in several Tamil films. He is known for his performances in films like ‘Vaali’, ‘Jeeva’, ‘Pariyerum Perumal’, and ‘Jailer’, among others.
