Rajinikanth who is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Darbar which is all set to hit theatres by next month, much to the excitement of his fans, is now reported to have signed a new project with Siruthai director Siva. It is reported that the movie is titled to be Thalaivar 168 and it is also said to go on floors on December 5, 2019, just before Rajinikanth’s birthday.
Now there’s a new report that claims post Thalaivar 168, Rajinikanth will work with director Gautham Menon of Yennai Arindhaal fame for his next movie. The report further stated that Gautham Menon did read the script to the superstar and he has received a nod for the same. But there is no official confirmation about the same. So will Rajinikanth actually collaborate for his 169th movie? Well on time will tell!
Talking about Rajnikanth’s upcoming film Darbar, Rajinikanth is paired opposite Nayanthara in the action drama. The film also stars Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty in a pivotal role. Helmed by director AR Murugadoss and produced by Allirajah Subaskaran, Darbar will release on on January 10, 2010, on the occasion of Pongal. Recently makers of the movie dropped the motion picture for the film, which has been much loved by fans and they are excitedly waiting for the film to drop. In the film, Rajnikanth will also be seen playing the role of a cop.
