Madras High Court Slams Mansoor Ali Khan In Trisha Controversy With Fine Of Rs.1 Lakh, Here Are Latest Updates

Madras HC passed final judgment in Trisha- Mansoor Khan matter, saying that it is a publicity stunt rather than a defamation case.

Madras High Court passed its final verdict on a heated topic of recent times: Trisha Krishnan and Mansoor Ali Khan. The altercation between Mansoor Ali Khan and Trisha Krishnan came to an end when Madras HC imposed a fine of Rs. 1 Lakh on Mansoor Ali Khan.

The entire controversy started when this “Leo” actor made a sexist comment about his co-actor Trisha Krishnan.   He said, ““When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought that I could carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes in a number of movies, and it’s not new to me. But these guys didn’t even show Trisha to me on the sets during the Kashmir schedule.”

After the whole legal saga, Mansoor Ali Khan filed a defamation case against Trisha and some other actors in the industry. On December 11, Madras High Court passed its first verdict saying, Trisha Krishnan has to be the one to file a case against Mansoor Ali Khan for his offensive comment.

Later, Madras HC gave the next date to Trisha and others, Chiranjeevi and Khushbu to put their side in court and, finally, on December 22, Madras HC passed final judgment, saying that it is a publicity stunt rather than a defamation case. The court supported the reactions of Trisha and others, saying any normal person would react in the same manner as they did. And penalized him with Rs. 1 lakh. The court ordered him to deposit that penalty amount to Adyar Cancer Institute in Chennai.
