LEO: Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj Leo is a much anticipated and highly awaited Tamil film starring South superstar Thalapathy Vijay, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, and PS-1 actress Trisha Krishnan. Leo which is scheduled for theatrical release on 19th October has now surpassed Rajinikanth’s film “Jailer” and SRK’s “Jawan” in terms of the advance booking at the box office.

Leo Advance Booking & Box Office Prediction
Vijay Thalapathy’s starter “Leo” has been breaking record after record, reportedly the film has sold the highest number of tickets through an advance booking for its first day. As per Sacnilk, Leo has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster hit film, Jawan which apparently sold 15.75 lakh tickets in advance booking. As per the report, Leo has sold approx. 16 Lakh tickets through advance booking and is expected to end at 20 Lakh.
The advanced overseas box office collection of Leo is estimated to be around $3.2 million (26.50 crores) as per Sacnilk.com. The film is expected to have an opening near 100cr. As per the report, Leo has sold tickets worth Rs 29 crore for regular Tamil shows and around Rs 4 crore worth of tickets have been sold for the dubbed Telugu version.
If Leo manages to open at 100cr on the first day then the film will become one of the top 5 biggest Tamil openers after 2.0, Kabali, and Jailer. And since the buzz of the film has been spreading over the internet, there’s a high possibility for the film to open at 100cr. Leo will be released on 19th October alongside the Kannada film, Ghost, and the Telugu film, Bhagvant Kesari.
