After delivering his blockbuster hit film, Jailer in 2023, South megastar Rajinikanth is all set to appear in his daughter, Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s directorial, “Lal Salaam”. Lal Salaam will be a Tamil sports drama film featuring Rajinikanth in the role of “Moideen Bhai”.
Rajinikanth’s Fee/Salary For Lal Salaam
As per the reports, the South megastar Rajinikanth has reportedly charged a staggering 40 Crores for his role of Moideen Bhai in the Tamil sports drama, Lal Salaam. The film has reportedly been made on a budget of approx. 50 crores. However, the actor’s fee for Lal Salaam is a lot less than his recent blockbuster hit film, Jailer.
As per the reports, Rajinikanth had received a whopping 110 crores as his remuneration for Jailer, in addition, the actor got another 100 crores from the producer, after the film became a major box office success.
Meanwhile, Lal Salaam will also mark the comeback of Rajinkanth’s daughter Aishwarya in filmmaking after she took a long break for over 7 years. The teaser of the film was released back in 2023.

Talking about the film, Lal Salaam, the Tamil movie featuring Rajinikanth is directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth. The film is touted to be a sports drama film featuring Rajinikanth in the role of “Moideen Bhai”. It is reported that legendary cricketer Kapil Dev will also be playing a special role in the film. Apart from them, the film will also feature Vishnu Vishal, Nirosha, Dhanya Balakrishna, Sajjadul Ahamed Riya, and others. The film is expected to be released in theatres on 12 January 2024.
