Lal Salaam Box Office Collection Day 3: Rajinikanth Starrer To Cross 10Cr Mark Soon

Rajinikanth starrer Tamil sports drama, Lal Salaam showed no signs of growth during the weekend, the film faced tough competition with Telugu film Eagle.

Directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, the much-awaited and highly anticipated Tamil sports drama, Lal Salaam was released in the theatres on 9th February. Starring South superstar Rajinikanth the film opened up to positive reviews from moviegoers. However, despite receiving a positive response, the film registered a slow opening at the box office. Meanwhile, as per the latest reports, the film is now expected to cross the 10cr mark by the end of Monday.

As per Sacnilk.com, Rajinikanth starrer Tamil sports drama, Lal Salaam earned ₹ 3.55 Cr on its first day (opening day), unfortunately, the film showed no signs of growth during the weekend. Lal Salaam earned ₹ 3.25 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 3.00 Cr, taking the domestic total to ₹ 9.70 Cr. Lal Salaam has been facing tough competition with Ravi Teja’s film Eagle which was also released on the same day.

Talking about the film, Lal Salaam is a sports drama film featuring her father Rajinikanth in the lead role as “Moideen Bhai”. Lal Salaam delves into the concept of religious coexistence. It showcases the narrative of aspiring cricketers who, despite their talent, are unjustly dismissed from the team. They must confront and surpass this setback to pursue their dreams.

Directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter, Aishwarya, the Tamil film, Lal Salaam features Rajinikanth in the lead role as “Moideen Bhai”. As per the reports, legendary cricketer Kapil Dev also appears in a cameo role in the film. Apart from them, the film will also feature Vishnu Vishal, Nirosha, Dhanya Balakrishna, Sajjadul Ahamed Riya, and others in significant roles. The Tamil sports drama was released in the theatres on 9th January.
