Srinidhi Shetty got a perfect start to her career when she transitioned from modelling to acting in 2018. For her debut, she bagged the role of a leading actress in Prashanth Neel’s directorial KGF. The film was a blockbuster and it got bigger ad better with its sequel released in 2022. KGF 2, made with a budget of Rs 100 crore grossed over Rs 1200 crore at the box office globally, making it the second highest grossing film in Indian cinema.
As per some trusted media reports, Srinidhi Shetty charged Rs 3 crore for playing the lead in KGF 2. After such a humungous success of her first two films, it is implied that Srinidhi is getting flooded with several movie offers from across the industries. While she is choosing her scripts wisely, her next film ‘Cobra’ is ready for release. After making a mark in the Kannada film industry with KGF franchise, Srinidhi is all set to make her Tamil film debut with ‘Cobra’ starring Tamil actor Vikram in the lead role. It is reported that Srinidhi increased her remuneration for this film. Srinidhi has apparently received Rs 7 crore for the upcoming Tamil film.
‘Cobra’ is an action thriller film scheduled for theatrical release on 11 August 2022. Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan will be seen making his film debut with ‘Cobra’. Meanwhile, more details about Srinidhi Shetty’s upcoming projects are not announced yet.
