Jailer: Nelson Dilipkumar’s directorial, “Jailer” is currently one of the biggest opening Tamil films. Starring Rajinikanth the film was released in theatres on 10th August and opened up to extremely positive reviews from the audience. As per the latest reports, after crossing the 300cr mark globally the film has now crossed the 400cr mark with its global box office collection, here’s how much the film earned on Independence Day-

Rajinikanth starrer Jailer had a blockbuster opening at the box office, earning around 72cr worldwide. The film crossed the 300cr mark globally through its first weekend, meanwhile, as per the latest reports the film has now crossed the 200cr mark domestically and 400cr mark globally.
Jailer has now crossed the 200cr mark with its domestic box office collection. As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned approx. 36.5 Cr on Independence Day. The film currently stands on a domestic total of 210cr. While the film has crossed the 400cr mark with its worldwide box office collection.
The film has become one of the highest opening films in the Tamil film industry followed by films like Beast. Jailer is also the 4th Tamil movie to enter the 300cr club.
