Jailer: Nelson Dilipkumar’s directorial, “Jailer” is currently one of the biggest opening Tamil films. Starring Rajinikanth the film was released in theatres on 10th August and opened up to extremely positive reviews from the audience. However, after having a blockbuster opening in the theatres the film saw a slight dip in the numbers on its second day at the box office, here’s how much the film earned on its second day at the box office.

Rajinikanth starrer Jailer had a blockbuster opening at the box office as the film earned around 72cr worldwide. However, the film witnessed a slight drop in theatre occupancy on its second day. As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, the film earned approx. 27cr in India.
Meanwhile, the two much-anticipated Bollywood films were released yesterday including Sunny Deol starrer “Gadar 2” and Akshay Kumar starrer “OMG 2”. And due to the release of the films, Rajinikanth starrer Jailer saw a dip in theatre occupancy on Friday. However, the film is expected to see a rise in occupancy on the weekend.
Jailer currently stands at a domestic total of approx. 75cr. The film has become one of the highest opening films in the Tamil film industry followed by films like Beast and Sarkar.

Jailer is a Tamil action-comedy film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran. The film will feature South superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. Apart from him the film will also feature Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan and Mirnaa Menon.
