On February 9th, two long-awaited and highly anticipated South Indian films hit the theaters: the Rajinikanth-led Tamil sports drama “Lal Salaam” and the Telugu film “Eagle” starring Ravi Teja. Both movies debuted to positive reviews, engaging in a competitive battle at the box office. However, despite the initial excitement, both films have recently experienced a significant decline in attendance, showing little to no signs of improvement at the box office.

According to Sacnilk.com, the Tamil sports drama “Lal Salaam,” starring Rajinikanth, grossed ₹3.55Cr on its opening day. However, the film failed to gain momentum over the weekend, and Monday saw a significant decline in its earnings. Ever since Monday, the film has shown no signs of improvement. “Lal Salaam” earned ₹1.16 Cr on Tuesday, and ₹ 1.19 Cr on Wednesday bringing its domestic total to ₹ 14.14 Cr.
Eagle Box Office Collection Day 6
According to Sacnilk.com, “Eagle” amassed a total of ₹6 Cr on its opening day at the box office. However, over the weekend, the film experienced a slight decline, followed by a significant drop on Monday, where it only earned ₹1.50 Cr. With no visible signs of improvement, the film’s earnings on Tuesday amounted to ₹1.25 Cr, and ₹ 1.29 Cr on Wednesday, bringing the approximate domestic total to ₹ 20.29 Cr.
