Divyanka Tripathi Starrer Yeh Hai Mohabbatein To Come Up With The Second Season?

Divyanka Tripathi shed lights on the possibilities of the second season of 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' as the story suits to each generation.

Ekta Kapoor is a queen of television as this lady has given various TV series to the audience which ran very successfully for long time like ‘Hum Paanch’, ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, ‘Pavitra Rishta’, ‘Kundali Bhagya’, ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ and many more. The producer was quite successful in giving breaks to many artists and one such actress is Divyanka Tripathi. She kicked off with Banoo Main Teri Dulhann in 2006. After that serial she appeared in many television shows, but she got recognition after Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ started in the year 2013 on Star Plus. Her character of Dr. Ishita Bhalla got tremendous love from the audience and Divyanka Tripathi became a familiar face in many houses. Recently, the actress talked in reference to the second season of the show, which excited the audiences.

In a conversation with the Times of India, Divyanka was asked about whether there could be a second season of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. She told the Times that she felt the show is for all generations, i.e. each generation can relate to it. She said, “It would be right to say that the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein story fits every generation because I come across youngsters opting to watch the show lying on a digital platform even when there’s no dearth of fresh content. It has a great repeat value.”

Nowadays, many old TV shows are coming up with their second seasons or running continuously, taking a leap of some years. Sometimes it gets too boring and sometimes they are worth watching. Emphasizing this point, Divyanka said, “Though a remake would only make sense if it has something completely different to offer that we have not already shown in a 6-year-long successful show. That’s a difficult feat to achieve.” But it’s not clear whether Ekta wants to place the second season of this successful TV show, which also stars Karan Patel in the role of Raman.
