Sanjay Dutt Shares Experience Of Working In Kannada Film KGF 2

During a press conference, Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt shared his experience of working in a Kannada film for the first time.

Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt is making his Kannada debut at the age of 62 years. He will be seen playing an antagonist (Adheera) in the period action film KGF 2.

During a press conference, Sanjay Dutt shared his experience of shooting for KGF 2. He said, “While working on a Kannada film, it felt like I was working with my family. It is a pan India film. I have been in the industry for 45 years and to see that journey of seeing the whole of India come together is amazing.”

“40 years ago, when we were introduced, we lived through the time of larger than life and action-oriented roles. I felt the same while working on KGF 2. It felt so good to play Adheera. Yash is playing Rocky in the film and interestingly, my first film was ‘Rocky’. But being a hero, he was never insecure of me. The whole atmosphere was to make a great film together. Director Prashanth is a taskmaster,” he added.

Talking about the challenges of playing his role, Sanjay said, “Adheera was a tough, complex and great role. But Prashanth made it easier for me.”

KGF 2 is scheduled for a theatrical release on 14 April 2022 in Kannada along with the dubbed versions of Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam languages.
