Raid 2 has just hit the silver screens on May 1st, 2025 & the film has garnered mixed views from the audiences & film critics. The movie is being compared to its 1st Part – Raid & yes the film fanatics feel that something is surely missing in this sequel which was apparently very well present there in part 1!
Ajay Devgn has returned as Amay Patnaik (Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax) along with a bunch of talented actors including Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Amit Sial, Govind Namdev & more… Helmed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series Films & Kumar Mangat Pathak’s Panorama Studios, Raid 2 is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta who also created Raid!
Talking about the Box Office collections of the Raid 2 the film has earned Rs. 19.25 Crores (1st Day – May 1) & Rs. 11.75 Crores (2nd Day – May 2) in turn totalling up to Rs. 31 Crores (Hindi Net.) according to Sacnilk.com. The Income-Tax thriller saga witnessed a major dip in Box Office Numbers due to its not so good word of mouth review from the movie-goers.
Meanwhile Raid which was released back in 2018, minted a whopping amount of Rs. 103.7 Crores on the ticketing windows and was declared as a super-hit, also gaining positive views from the critics as well!
All eyes are now on the weekend i.e (May 3 & May 4), as these are the 2 critical days (Saturday & Sunday) which will decide the Box Office fate of Ajay Devgn’s highly talked about project which has maybe missed to make its mark – Raid 2…
