Manikarnika actress Ankita Lokhande recently grabbed the headlines after the actress was seen talking about Sushant Singh Rajput in a recent episode of the reality show Bigg Boss 17. The actress made some shocking revelations and revealed that she had not attended Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral.
During her conversation with Munawar Faruqui, Ankita revealed that she couldn’t muster up the courage to attend her ex-boyfriend and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral. Ankita also revealed that her husband Vicky Jain was also a friend of Sushant. Ankita also stated that realizing Sushant was no more was the worst feeling for her. During the conversation, Ankita was also seen singing the song, “Kaun Tujhe” from SSR’s film MS Dhoni.
However, the actress is now facing extreme backlash for mentioning Sushant in the show. Reddit and Twitter users have come out and slammed Ankita for “capitalizing” Sushant and using his name to garner attention and seek more popularity on the show.
A Reddit user wrote, “She just needs a queue to start blabbering about Sushant. I mean stop singing with voice, she’s the worst kind of person.”, one wrote, “She is literally using SSR for votes from his fans. I mean how low can someone go use a person who is not even in the world.”
Another user wrote, “the most cringe thing to me is that she is married, like ffs if you can’t move on for yourself atleast move on for the sake of your husband yaar just say he was a good soul and make your peace with it stop talking about the ‘one that got away’ non stop when you have a wholeass life partner besides you”
In the previous episodes, Ankita talked about her breakup with Sushant. Ankita revealed that Sushant never really gave her a proper explanation or reason for their breakup. She said, “Vo ek dum ek raat mein gayab ho gaya. Success mil rahi thi toh log uske kaan bhar rahe the”. Ankita added, “I was blank. Ek raat mein chezein palti hai meri life mein”
