KillBoxOffice: The highly anticipated action film “Kill,” featuring Lakshya’s debut alongside Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala, was released on July 5. Directed by Nikhil Bhat, the movie received positive reviews from both the public and critics after making a splash at international film festivals. Contrary to the expectations and the positive reception, the film registered a low opening at the box office and witnessed no significant growth during its first weekend. As per Sacnilk, Raghav Juyal and Lakshya starrer Kill earned only ₹ 1.25 Cr on its opening day. Seeing little growth during the weekend, the film earned ₹ 2.15 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 2.8 Cr on Sunday. The Bollywood action thriller now stands at a domestic box office total of approx. ₹ 6.2 Cr.
Meanwhile, it is surprising that contrary to the expectations the film has been doing a rather dull business at the box office. Before its release Kill opened up to positive reviews from both critics and the public. The film even received a decent 8/10 rating from IMDb. Meanwhile, trade experts suggest that the film’s growth has been hampered by the concurrent success of Nag Ashwin’s film, “Kalki,” which is currently dominating theaters.
