Famous comedian Kapil Sharma received immense hate for judging the Jawan director Atlee for his looks, on the previous day. The internet was flooded with comments against the comedian for his racist remark on the director. However, finally Kapil Sharma has come forward , breaking his silence to react on the criticism upfront.
While the social media platform X is crowded with netizens tweeting in Atlee’s support, and trolling Kapil for his brutal statement made at the show, Kapil Sharma chose to reply to one such X user denying that he did not intend to make any personal comments on the notable director Atlee.
When a random X user shared a clip from the Netflix’s The Kapil Sharma Show, with the caption, “Kapil Sharma subtly insults Atlee’s looks? Atlee responds like a boss: Don’t judge by appearance, judge by the heart“, the comedian immediately grabbed the opportunity to reply to the user stating, “Dear sir, can you pls explain me where n when I talked about looks in this video ? pls don’t spread hate on social media. thank you.“

Further via his tweet reply, Kapil Sharma also tried to request people to stop the continuous hate that is pouring in as he writes, “guys watch n decide by yourself, don’t follow any body’s tweet like a sheep”. The tweet has received a lot of attention on the social media ever since the actor replied to it. While many came in Kapil Sharma’s support to defend him, a larger section of the society still targeted him saying that most of the time his jokes have been below the belt, and based on personal, and racial differences.
The renowned film director Atlee along with Keerthy Suresh, and Varun Dhawan arrived at the Kapil Sharma Show ahead of their upcoming film ‘Baby John’ release. The team enjoyed the fun and laughter sessions at the show, but this remark by Kapil Sharma became a spot of attention for everyone and videos of the same quickly went viral, after which the comedian was see receiving tons of hate messages online.
