It’s rare for someone to consistently receive heartfelt praises over the years but Prabhas is one such global star, fondly known as the Rebel Star and Darling, has proven why he’s loved not just on-screen but in real life too. Veteran actress Zarina Wahab who is playing the role of Prabhas’s mother in the much-anticipated film Rajasaab, recently shared her thoughts about the actor saying, “There can be no other person in the world like Prabhas.”
Zarina Wahab on Prabhas: “He’s Truly One of a Kind”
In an exclusive interview with Lehren Retro, Zarina Wahab spoke about her experiences with actors who’ve played her sons on-screen such as Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR. However, when it came to Prabhas, she couldn’t stop showering him with praise.
“Prabhas jaisa insaan dusra koi ho hi nahi sakta. Itna acha insaan hai yaar!” she said, expressing her admiration. The veteran actress also revealed her wish for the next life: “Main toh bolti hu, agle jaman mein mujhe 2 bete chahiye, ek Prabhas aur ek Sooraj (her real son)”
When asked what makes Prabhas so special Zarina explained how he stays grounded, “Uss aadmi mein koi ego nahi hai. He’s very nice with everybody. Like, isme 3 heroine hai, character artists bhi hai, aur packup ke baadh sabko ‘bye’ bolke jayega, kya jarurat hai usko bolke janeki?”

A True Gentleman On and Off the Set
Zarina Wahab shared anecdotes about Prabhas’s humble nature on the sets of Rajasaab. “Unka kaam hogaya toh he will not go to his van, vo set pe hi behta rahega,” she revealed. She further mentioned his generosity saying, “Whenever someone says they are starving, he will call home and order food for 30-40 people on set.” The versatile actress also highlighted his respectful behaviour especially with his co-stars. “He never misbehaves on set, nor does he talk loudly. I was initially nervous to work with him but he made me and the heroines feel so comfortable.”
A Prayer for Prabhas
In conclusion, Zarina Wahab had nothing but blessings for the Baahubali star. “Main bata nahi sakti vo kitna acha insaan hai. Allah usko lambi umar de, acchi sehat de. He’s such a darling!”
The motion poster of Rajasaab has already created a buzz, showcasing Prabhas in a never-seen-before avatar. Directed by Maruthi Dasari, the horror-romance film follows a couple battling dark forces and destiny for their love. Rajasaab is slated for release on April 10, 2025.
