Superstar Mahesh Babu’s fans are buzzing with excitement as the news of their favorite actor lending his voice to the character of Mufasa in Disney’s iconic franchise film, ‘Mufasa: The Lion King,’ has been officially confirmed. Earlier, rumors were circulating online about Superstar Mahesh Babu voicing Mufasa in the Telugu version of the film, following the announcement that Shah Rukh Khan would be voicing the character in Hindi. Now that the news is official, fans can rest easy and celebrate as Superstar Mahesh Babu is confirmed to be part of Disney’s blockbuster animated series.
While fans are sharing their edits, the ‘Guntur Kaaram’ actor expressed his excitement to his followers, sharing how he has always admired Disney’s timeless legacy and storytelling. Being part of this popular series is “very special” to him, and he looks forward to cherishing the experience with his children. He added that the character of Mufasa appeals to him not only as a loving father guiding his son but also as the supreme king of the jungle, caring for his clan.

While, the Telugu trailer for ‘Mufasa: The Lion King’ will be releasing on August 26 at 11:07 am and it is set to hit Indian silver screens on December 20 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
