Tripti Dimri, the national crush of India is set to give some blockbuster hits as the year comes to an end. While Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is already on the plate, Tripti’s much anticipated comedy-drama, ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, released its new song. This song has trolled Tripti for making an unsuccessful attempt in performing dance numbers. Now certain reports revealed that Dimri is rejected for a second item number by the makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule.

Pushpa 2: The Rule tends to be the last biggest-pan-India movie of 2024. An exclusive report by Zoom TV now reported that actress Tripti Dimri, famous for roles like Laila and Bulbul, gave auditions for a classic item number in the much anticipated sequel movie. However, the performance was later rejected, snatching the opportunity of item number from Tripti Dimri. As quoted by the sources close to the movie, ‘Triptii Dimri, the current sensation in Bollywood, was keen on being a part of Pushpa 2: The Rule through an item song. The makers auditioned Triptii Dimri, but rejected her.”
The legitimate reasons behind the denial was not known by any, nor the sources revealed it. But, there’s another story connecting with it.

Recently, makers of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, launched a new song, ‘Mere Mehboob’ featuring Tripti and Rajkumar Rao as the lead dancers. As the song overall gained praises by fans, a large ratio of the public has still chosen to criticize the ‘poor choreography’. Dimri failed to convince the audience with her item number and have left them shocked and embarassed at the same time. This Ganesh Acharya choreography was disliked by many, hinting towards its vulgar steps and how Tripti struggles to perform well on-screen. Although, the reason for the rejection in Pushpa 2’s item song was not disclosed, but due to current debata brewing among the netizens, users are relating the context to her recently released performnace in ‘Mere Mehboob’.
Many users on Reddit claimed that it is this poor performance by Tripti in Vicky Vidya’s new song that has led to the makers of Pushpa 2, to steal a golden chance from her.
