Govinda Bullet Injury: Actor Gets A Discharge After 3 Days, Thanks CM Eknath Shinde

The gloomy faces of Govinda's family, now seemed to be happier as they were finally able to take him home in a much better condition.

Govind bullet injury: Bollywood star and Shiv Sena leader Govinda recently became a victim of a gunshot, by his own licensed gun. The actor who misfired his revolver and striked the bullet onto his knee, was immediately rushed to the hospital three days ago. Now, after keeping him under serious observation since Tuesday, the actor has been given a discharge. Govinda’s first-ever images after the discharge are out and are making rounds on the internet.

Govinda Interacts With Media After Discharge

As Govinda came out of the hospital, he was seen moving ahead with the help of his wife Sunita and other family members. In the first-interaction with the media, Govinda expressed gratitude to all of his fans who extended their love and prayers during his tough time. The actor said, “I would like to thank everyone who prayed and chanted mantras for me. I want to extend my thanks to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and because of everybody’s prayers I am safe today”.

As per the videos, the actor seems to be into his recovery stage and is yet not over the bullet injury. He had cast on his left knee and was moved around by his people while wife Sunita Ahuja was seen ensuring there is no discomfort provided to him in the chaos. Daughter Tina Ahuja also gave a statement upon her father’s discharge. She said, “Doctor uncle is there so I am not worrying about anything now”. The gloomy faces of Govinda’s family, now seemed to be happier as they were finally able to take him home in a much better condition.

For the unversed, the Kyonki Mai Jhuth Nahi Bolta actor Govinda while leaving for his flight to Kolkata, was busy cleaning his own revolver, licensed of the company named Webley. However, the gun which was not locked, accidentally led to him misfiring his own self and the bullet striked directly below his left knee. He was immediately taken to the Criti Care hospital in Mumbai around 5.15am in the morning after the accident took place.
