Geeta Kapoor, the popular Bollywood choreographer known as the Nation’s Mother, recently opened up about her personal life in a candid conversation with Shardul Pandit. Despite her long career in the industry and the admiration she receives, Geeta remains one of the most eligible bachelorettes. In the latest, interestingly she revealed her admiration for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who at 58, is also single.
Speaking about her massive crush on him, she talks about marriage plans, saying, “I’m waiting for him to get free”. In a podcast with Shardul Pandit, Geeta Kapoor shared a hilarious yet heartwarming moment. While discussing her brief appearance in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Shardul complimented her by saying, “I don’t think so you understand, you and Salman Khan have been part of everybody’s breakup in India.” Geeta promptly responded with adding, “I am waiting for him to get free” and laughed it out loud with adding, “that day he decides, main kar lu.”

During the chat, Geeta Kapoor praised Salman, calling him “a man with a heart of gold”. Shardul teased her, suggesting, “I think vo bhi yahi keh rahe hai, we should start the conversation. You never had that conversation with him, na?” To this, Geeta shyly admitted saying “No” but quickly added, “I think he knows that I have this MASSIVE crush on him.” She also shared how she becomes tongue-tied around Salman, recalling an incident, “He spoke to me once, I went and cried.”
Shardul then humorously commented, “Unko jhagat ne Bhai banaya aur aapko jhagat ne Maa banaya. I think you guys should get together.”
