Louis Tomlinson, a former member of One Direction, called his inaugural concert in India “mind-blowing.” The 33-year-old artist took the stage at the Lollapalooza India 2025 music festival in Mumbai on Sunday. While fans cheered with excitement, the singer himself witnessed a beautifully warm welcome in the country. From thunderous dhol beats to a traditional aarti ceremony, the singer got a true-blue desi reception like never before. Fans were left in awe as Louis soaked in the vibrant Indian culture, experiencing the warm hospitality that India is known for.
After winding up the performance, Louis took to his X sharing his experience where he wrote, “India, I had no idea what to expect, but you turned up in full force. From Doncaster to Mumbai. F**** mind-blowing. Thank you,”. Excited fans poured immense love over the tweet. The ones who witnessed the moment live, said that he really did a wonderful job at the Lollapalooza 2025 event.

Held at the Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai, it begane when Louis with his electrifying entry featured on the big digital screen. As the screen read, “India! Told You So!” his presence reflected to the promisae made six years ago to come to perform for the Indian sometime. The concert featured Tomlinson performing a mix of hits from his One Direction days, including “Where Do Broken Hearts Go” and “Night Changes,” along with several of his solo tracks such as “Written All Over Your Face,” “Out of System,” “Saturdays,” “Back To You Now,” and “We Made It.”
Day 1 of Lollapalooza India 2025 included performances from Shawn Mendes, guitarist-songwriter Cory Wong, indie rock band Glass Animals, and German DJ Zedd. Day 2 of the festival saw performances by singer Lisa Mishra, singer-songwriter Raghav Meattle, sitar player Niladri Kumar, rapper duo Raftaar and KRSNA, rapper-singer Hanumankind, rock band Nothing But Thieves and DJ John Summit.
