Oscars 2023: S. S. Rajamouli’s RRR Is Slammed By Those Who Criticized The Film For Its Logic

 S. S. Rajamouli's RRR is slammed by those who criticize the film for its logic, as the film won the Oscar for its iconic song Naatu Naatu.

There was a time when South movies were a source of comedy for us. The action-packed scenes were also thought-provoking and made us laugh. But then came 2015, and the outlook of Indian cinema changed forever. The outstanding film Bahubali shocked and shut the mouths of those who make fun of South films. After this, the South Korean industry has given many such movies that have been successful in locking the mouths of laughing people. But the noise of the name of the one who should have gotten the real success credit for Bahubali was heard after some time. S. S. Rajamouli is not only a genius director, but he is also a smart businessman. That’s why he had put 500 crores on two big stars of the South at his own risk. Some people had said that every film cannot be Bahubali, but Rajamouli had the strategy and faith to prove it.

RRR starts from where everyone was prepared to laugh at Rajamouli. When this festival started in the Indian film industry, no one thought that this film would reach the Oscars. The box office of the film broke all records in the world (from 1000 to 1200 crore). When the whole world kept praising the film, our country was making the film and asking about the logic for some scenes. But the worst was felt when RRR in India was not nominated in any category to send it to the Oscars.

But Rajamouli did not want to get out of this race; he took the film to the Oscars, and literally, the British have gone crazy for the film and for the songs. Everyone is just dancing to the film’s iconic song, Naatu Naatu,” and now everyone knows that the song has won the Oscar for Best Original Musical Song. Even if the language of the song is not understood, enthusiasm for the song is going on in the theaters. It is a proud feeling for all of us Indians. Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was introducing Indian music while standing on the biggest stage in Hollywood.

The biggest lesson from here should be taken by the bigwigs sitting above in the Indian film industry about which films should be sent for awards like the Oscars or not. It is not decided only by four to five people, it is also necessary to take public opinion for this.

If the audience gives genuine support to a film, then that film should definitely get a chance to reach the Oscars. And secondly, we should stop criticizing our Indian cinemas in the wake of North-South.
